Dating as far back as the Egyptian period, glass casting is a technique where molten glass is poured into a mold and then allowed to solidify. I make my own moldes and then I fill them with glass, metal powder and different interesting things . When they melt together the most beautiful pieces can be created. The process is long and has to be done carefully with an exact fiering schedule. It can take up to a week before I can open the oven to be sure that the piece is cooled down and ready to work on.
